About Nail Salon List

Nail Salon List is an independent directory of U.S. nail salons, built to make finding a great manicure or pedicure as quick as opening a tab.

Our mission

We started Nail Salon List because finding a nail salon online is harder than it should be. Search engines surface ads first, social media is great for inspiration but bad for logistics, and review sites can drown out small independent salons under a wall of national chains. We wanted a single place where every salon — whether it has 5,000 reviews or none — gets a clean, scannable listing with the basics you need to make a decision: address, hours, services, and a map link.

That's the entire product. No accounts, no popups, no algorithmic ranking that pushes paid placements above your local favorites. Just an honest, browseable directory.

Where our data comes from

Salon listings are sourced from public business records, primarily OpenStreetMap — a community-maintained mapping project used by everyone from Apple Maps to Wikipedia. We then enrich and normalize the data before publishing it. We don't take payment from salons for listings, and we don't accept paid placement in our city or state pages.

Because public business data isn't always perfect, you may occasionally find a salon that has closed or relocated. If you spot something out of date, please let us know and we'll update the listing in our next refresh.

How the directory is organized

We organize salons three ways: by state, by city, and by ZIP code. State pages link out to every city we cover. City pages list every salon in that city plus the ZIP codes inside it. ZIP pages narrow the list to a single postal code. Each salon has its own page with full contact details, hours, a service menu, and a map link.

Who we are

Nail Salon List is a small, independent project. We're not affiliated with any salon, chain, booking platform, or beauty brand. The site is built with plain server-rendered HTML — no apps to download, no accounts to create, no JavaScript heavy lifting. Every page works on a low-end phone over a slow connection.
